Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
This eight month program is designed for anyone over 18 years of age who is seeking to learn about the Catholic faith and is considering joining the Catholic Church.
Beginning in September, the “period of inquiry” runs until November at which time the new inquirers enter the period of the Catechumen.
This second period involves the study of the sacraments: baptism, Eucharist and confirmation.
We welcome anyone who:
- has never been baptized.
- has been baptized in another Christian faith tradition and may be interested in becoming a Catholic.
- was baptized Catholic but has not received all the Sacraments.
- wants to participate more in the Catholic faith. Perhaps you are engaged or married to a Catholic and want to know more about your partner’s religion. Maybe your children are being raised as Catholics, and you want to better understand the faith tradition they are learning.
