Holy Matrimony

The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament (CCC 1601).
Marriage Preparation
The focus of the marriage preparation process at Holy Family Church is preparing the couple to live a life-long covenant of love and self-giving modeled on the covenant between Christ and His bride, the Church.
The marriage preparation process offers couples an opportunity to reflect and discuss the important characteristics of marriage and how to live out the sacramental commitment to permanence, fidelity and the procreation and upbringing of children.
To begin the marriage preparation process, please plan to attend a Marriage Preparation Information Session at least nine months to a year before the proposed wedding date.
To register for a Marriage Preparation Information Session, please call Deacon Cuong Nguyen at (281) 499-9688 x 314 or email cuong.nguyen@holyfamilychurch.us.
Marriage Preparation Information Sessions are held via Zoom on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 pm.
