Eucharistic Adoration

Our Commitment:
Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament are committed to grow in their relationship with Jesus and to contribute to the Church’s mission to bring Christ to the world and the world to Christ.
What We Do:
Adorers commit to spending at least one “Holy Hour” each week in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. The Blessed Sacrament must NEVER be left alone.
Adorers commit to guard and adore the Blessed Sacrament for their hour. Adorers sign-in upon arrival for their hour; before leaving, they review sign-in to be sure adorers for the next hour have arrived. If no one has arrived after a few minutes and adorer is unable to stay to adore longer (and leaving means the Blessed Sacrament will be alone), the adorer must contact the Parish Office so that they can call for a substitute or else the priests can repose the Blessed Sacrament.
Every effort is made to have at least two adorers committed to every hour. If adorers are unable to attend their assigned hour, they should request a substitute. They are encouraged first to ask a family member or friend who is not a regularly scheduled adorer so as to introduce potential new adorers to adoration.
Time & Training:
- Commit to spending one hour per week for silent prayer and adoration in the Chapel
- Adoration days and times are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, except during special liturgies such as funerals. On Fridays in Lent, the Blessed Sacrament is reposed at 6:00 pm.
