Finance Council

Who We Are:
The Finance Council provides the Pastor and Pastoral Council with counsel, advice, and oversight concerning the Parish’s financial management, condition, and related matters.

Our Commitment:
We are committed to ethically aiding the Pastor in the administration of Parish finances in accordance to established norms.

What We Do:
The Finance Council reviews and approves the Parish’s annual budget; monthly financial statements; major expenditure requests as defined in internal procedures; and written financial internal controls and procedures for the temporal needs of the parish.

Time & Training:

• Must attend monthly council meetings 
• Most meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon.

Requirements:

• All members must complete the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training for Adults

Helpful Attributes:
Those who have practical business experience related to budgeting, the ability to be a good listener with a collaborative nature, and who have a great attention to detail are invited to join. Legal or human resources experience is a plus. The Pastor appoints council members.
